There are reports out of England of a possible Bee Gees reunion even though after Maurice Gibb died unexpectedly in 2003 following surgery on an intestinal blockage, surviving brothers Barry Gibb and his twin Robin Gibb said there would no longer be the Bee Gees without their brother.

Robin now says that Barry and he might return to the stage as the Bee Gees. Robin told the BBC that he is “very open” to a comeback if Barry “feels comfortable with it. When or where is to be decided at a time when he says yes.”

In February 2006 Barry and Robin reunited on stage for a charity concert in Miami, FL to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute, and later that year at the 30th annual Prince’s Trust Concert in the UK.

“We decided to disband on an emotional level at that point,” Robin explained to the BBC. “Whether or not that will change, we don’t know. It’s a personal thing and we’ll do it when the time is right. So it’s not a ‘no,’ it’s just emotionally when it’s right.”
