Grupo Fantasma, comprised of 10 concert veterans from Austin, TX, will take their live show on the road this summer with just under 40 shows across North America and Europe. The tour started last week in El Paso,TX and goes through August 4 in Dublin, Ireland. The band performs more than 150 shows a year.
Described as a Latin funk orchestra, the band will perform songs from their new album “Sonidos Gold” due out on June 17 on Aire Sol Records/High Wire Music. The album delivers an authentic illustration of the live Grupo Fantasma experience.
Formed in 2000, Grupo Fantasma is best known for its exuberant live shows and has played with Prince on numerous occasions.
