Fresh off their six-week stint on the 4th annual Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour, Idiot Pilot will return to the road this month with Portland, OR-based band Nurses. The atmospheric rock duo, which consists of longtime friends Daniel Anderson and Michael Harris, will launch their 14-city West Coast tour on June 14 in Seattle, WA near their hometown of Bellingham, WA, and wind down on June 29 in Kirkland, WA.
Idiot Pilot are on the road in support of two current releases: “Wolves,” their second album for Reprise Records, which hit stores in February, and “Heart is Long,” a digital EP that contains a special acoustic version of “Wolves'” lead-off track “Last Chance” and the music video for the album’s first single, “Retina and the Sky.”
The EP was made available for purchase on iTunes in March, while “Wolves,” which was produced by the band with Ross Robinson (At the Drive-In, Glassjaw) and Mark Hoppus (bassist for +44, blink-182), was released digitally in October, 2007.
