Singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright will be touring with KT Tunstall starting August 4 in Northampton, MA and finishing up August 25 in Aspen, CO. The tour will be in support of Wainwright’s forthcoming album, “I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too,” which Zoe/Rounder will release on June 10.
The album has Wainwright working with some of the biggest names in music including Donald Fagen (Steely Dan), Pete Townshend (The Who) and Garth Hudson (The Band) plus members of Martha’s family, including mother Kate McGarrigle and brother Rufus Wainwright. Coming from a musical family, Wainwright is also the daughter of songwriter/folk singer Loudon Wainwright III.
Before heading out with Tunstall, Wainwright has lined up three headlining shows in June in New York and Los Angeles.
