The inaugural Slow Food Rocks music festival will be held August 30-31 during the inaugural Slow Food Nation ’08 event, the largest ever celebration to raise awareness for creating a sustainable food system in America. Slow Food Nation will be held August 29-September 1 at the Great Meadow at Fort Mason in Golden Gate National Park in San Francisco, CA.

Grammy-winning Gnarls Barkley will headline the first night with support from Ozomatli, New Pornographers, and Medeski Martin & Wood. G. Love & Special Sauce and the John Butler Trio will perform on the second night with the headliner and more support acts to be named later.

General admission ticket prices are: $59 for single day, early bird tickets (until July 10); $69 for advance sales (after July 10); $79 at the door; and children age 5-12, $10. Single day reserve ticket prices are early bird $79 (until July 10); advance $89 (after July 10); at door $99; and children age 5-12, $20.
