Indie rock band The Virgins are headed out on a fall club tour with the Black Kids, kicking off September 19 in Jacksonville, FL. The tour is currently scheduled to continue through October 13 in San Francisco, CA, but more dates are expected to be added.

The Virgins, who released their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album on June 3, are currently on the road as part of the first ever NYLON Magazine Music Tour. That 36-date itinerary features the band as part of a multi-artist bill which kicked off on May 8 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA and finishes up in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theatre on June 21. The Virgins next head to Europe for a series of shows, including two nights in London with Band of Horses, before returning to the U.S. to perform at the All Points West Music Festival on August 10 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, N.J.

The Virgins’ first single, “Rich Girls,” debuted at #3 on the FMQB Specialty Chart and was Sprint’s 9th Most Downloaded Song for the week of June 3. In addition, The Virgins just released the first video for the track “Private Affair,” which premieres on MySpace.com today, June 19.
