Singer-songwriter and guitarist Tristan Prettyman has mapped out a seven-week summer tour, sharing the bill with G. Love & Special Sauce and the John Butler Trio.

Beginning August 1 in Council Bluffs, IA, Perryman is touring behind her second Virgin Records album, “Hello.” Released on March 11, “Hello” debuted in the Top 30 of Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart and at No. 2 on its Top Digital Albums listing. The 25-date tour winds down September 25 in Santa Barbara, CA.

“Hello” was recorded in London with the British producers and songwriters Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall) and Sacha Skarbek (James Blunt, Tunstall). It is a blend of warm vocalism, finger-picked acoustic guitar, pedal-steel, Wurlitzer, Hammond organ, and strings, reminiscent of the innovative folk and country-blues fusions of The Band, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan.
