Long Island’s Bayside has lined up a 35 city tour this fall, supporting the September 30 release of their upcoming album “Shudder.” The Matches, Valencia and The Status are supporting. The tour begins on October 7 in Cleveland, OH and finishes up on November 16 at the famed Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.
The band is currently in a Los Angeles studio recording “Shudder,” produced by David Schiffman (Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Johnny Cash). The album is the follow-up to 2007’s critically acclaimed release “The Walking Wounded,” which has just been re-released as a Gold Edition; including a DVD with behind-the-scenes documentary, a live show and music videos.
“I honestly feel that this is the best Bayside album that we have ever made,” said vocalist/guitarist Anthony Raneri in a statement. “It’s probably the most youthful and energetic of all of our records and we can’t wait to bring that electricity to the stage on the Involuntary Movement Tour this fall. The Matches, Valencia and the Status are all bands that we hold close to our hearts, and when we’re enjoying ourselves on a tour, that excitement comes out on stage. I can’t explain how ready we are to get this album out and start this tour.”
Tickets are now on sale at their website.
