Paul Weller, former member of punk icons The Jam, has booked a nine-concert, seven-city tour of the U.S. starting September 2 in Los Angeles, CA and ending September 16 in Chicago, IL. Weller is also touring Europe, Japan and Australia.
He will be promoting his first album in three years, “22 Dreams,” his ninth solo album since leaving The Jam. Guest appearances on the 21-track record include Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer from Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene’s Steve Cradock, ex-Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, Little Barrie and folk guitarist John McCrusker.
Weller was the leader of The Jam from 1976-1982 and The Style Council from 1983-1989 before releasing albums under his own name. His biggest UK solo singles have been “Peacock Suit,” “The Changingman,” “It’s Written in the Stars” and “You Do Something to Me.”
