O.A.R. will be heading out on the road for their next set of solo dates, following their three-show run with Dave Matthews Band at the end of August. And blame the weather for Martina McBride’s cancelled Alabama concert, which had been scheduled for tonight.

Country singer Patty Loveless will be on the road again for a new tour this fall. The 14-date trek begins September 6 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, and stretches through her November 8 performance at Rams Head on Stage in Annapolis, MD. Loveless’ tour includes a two-night stand at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA, on October 1-2.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

Blue Oyster Cult has extended their current North American tour itinerary by three dates. The rockers, who have been on the road playing a mix of solo dates and festivals, will be at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA on October 31. Then it’s on to Canada for the new November 7 show in Calgary, AB, before returning to the States for a November 8 show in Stateline, NV, at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. The Cult’s 2008 tour wraps on November 15 in Uncasville, CT.

Kid Rock will be rolling overseas after finishing his North American tour on September 28 at Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. The nine-date trek across the UK and Europe begins November 30 at Apollo Hammersmith in London, and runs through the rocker’s December 14 performance at Philipshalle in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Calle 13 will be on the road later this fall with a new tour of the U.S. So far, the group has announced six major market shows: October 9 at the Nokia Theatre in New York City’s Times Square; October 10 at La Covacha in Miami, FL; October 30 at the Volkan in Chicago, IL; October 31 at Warehouse Live in Houston, TX; November 14 at the Regency Center’s Grand Ballroom in San Francisco, CA; and November 15 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA.

Rise Against has added four California shows onto their current North American tour. The tour runs from October 2 in Cleveland, OH, through the new end date of December 15 in San Diego, CA. (The last show was previous set for November 23 in Detroit, MI.) The other new shows are October 30 at the Cox Arena in San Diego, October 31 at the newly renovated Hollywood Palladium, and November 7 at San Jose State University.

Hip hop duo Shwayze has a mind-boggling 51-date tour on the books for September through November. The U.S. trek begins on September 16 at Blush in Las Vegas, NV, and runs through November 29 at The Grove in Anaheim, CA. Throughout the 11-week tour, Shwayze is slated to play with Tyga, Metro Station and Cash Cash, with stops at the Nokia Theatre in New York City on October 29, and the Showbox in Seattle on November 20.
