Indie rockers Death Cab For Cutie are coming back to the States to start another leg of their current tour supporting the May 2008 release, “Narrow Stairs.” The fall performances kick off on October 3 in Boston, MA, and wrap on October 13 in St. Louis, MO.
The Narrow Stairs Tour began on April 18 in Bremerton, WA, and continued through June 26, with dates across the United States and Canada. In July, Death Cab traveled overseas to start the European leg of the tour.
The band is still abroad, currently performing August dates in Singapore, South Korea and Australia. The Australian shows, which wrap August 22, feature performances by indie-pop duo An Horse. Earlier this year, An Horse promoted the 2008 release “Not Really Scared EP” while opening for Tegan and Sara’s U.S. tour dates.
Initially a solo project for frontman Ben Gibbard, Death Cab got its start in 1997 with “You Can Play These Songs With Chords.” The sixth studio release for the band, “Narrow Stairs” reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in May.
