A venerable who’s who of premiere ticket industry companies have begun to sign up as exhibitors for Ticket Summit NYC, scheduled for January 6-8 at the Waldorf=Astoria in Manhattan.

New York-based secondary ticket giant Admit One has signed on as an exhibitor, and so has entertainment information resource Celebrity Access.

In addition, FreeTicketExchange.com, Worldwide Ticket Craft and two new endeavors, New York Ticket Exchange and Sports Nomad, are also on board.

Ticket Summit NYC is an East Coast version of the successful Las Vegas-based Ticket Summit, which will enter its fourth year, on July 15-17, at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Both versions of Ticket Summit were created by TicketNetwork, parent company of TicketNews.

Gerry Wilson, CEO of the ticket futures Web site yoonew.com, said the company is excited the new conference is taking place in its backyard. Yoonew has been an exhibitor at the two most recent Ticket Summits in Las Vegas.

“Ticket Summit is one of the event’s that most important for us to stay current on the latest technology in the ticket industry,” Wilson said. “We’ve seen, as the industry evolves, brokers, sports teams and other market leaders are making Ticket Summit a priority, and it allows us to align ourselves with the best the industry has to offer, especially in the secondary ticket market.”
