In a newly created position, veteran facilities executive Dale Adams has been named regional vice president of the Booking & Event Development division for AEG Facilities.
Adams will be responsible for coordinating booking family shows, special events, sports championships, collegiate athletics and other events for nearly 90 venues within the portfolio of AEG Facilities. Adams will also work with a variety of event producers and promoters to develop original programming for the venues.
Based in Atlanta, GA, Adams will report to Eric Bresler, the division’s vice president. He joins AEG Facilities from Premier Exhibitions where he was VP sales and touring. Prior to that he was general manager at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
“Having someone with the experience and great relationships that Dale has with the most important promoters in our industry will maximize the programming that AEG Facilities will continue to deliver to all of our venues,” Bresler said in a statement. “Combining Dale’s talents and the resources of AEG Facilities will also help us to create a variety of new programming and events for our clients worldwide.”
AEG Facilities has been steadily expanding its services over the past few years. A stand-alone affiliate of AEG, the company signed service agreements with Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, and E-Center in West Valley City, UT, around this time last year. More recently, AEG Facilities signed a similar deal with KeyArena in Seattle, WA, which used to host the Seattle Supersonics before the team’s move to Oklahoma City, OK.
