November is just getting into full-swing, but some major events, like Elton John‘s North American tour, are winding down during the week ending November 17 as compiled by TicketNews.

Sir Elton John still has some European dates on the books this year, as well as his “Red Piano” commitments in Las Vegas in 2009, but he is wrapping this year’s North American tour over the weekend. John will end his run of the States and Canada with a two-night stand at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, on November 14-15. His Las Vegas show will start up again on February 1 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Also ending this week are ticket sales for the Rock Band Live tour, featuring Panic at the Disco, Dashboard Confessional and The Plain White T’s. Throughout the interactive tour, select fans have been invited to play the latest edition of the “Rock Band” videogame on stage between sets. The tour wraps November 13 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX, but Panic has at least one more solo show slated for November 14 at Reliant Arena in Houston, TX.

Fans of country and Latin music also have one last chance to snag tickets to the CMA Awards and the Latin Grammy Awards this week. The November 12 CMA Awards ceremony, based out of Nashville, TN, will feature performances by the likes of Reba McEntire and the Eagles. The Latin Grammys boast musical appearances by Juanes and Alejandra Guzmán on November 13 in Houston, TX.

Meanwhile, NASCAR fans can look forward to two Ford-sponsored racing series this weekend. The Nationwide Series: Ford 300 hits the pavement first with a November 13 race at Homestead Miami Speedway in Homestead, FL. The following day, stock car racing’s finest will get behind the wheel on the same circuit for the Sprint Cup Series: Ford 400.

“Last Chance” information is compiled at the beginning of the week, based on touring acts whose current itineraries are closing over the course of that week. The availability of tickets for Last Chance events depends on primary and secondary seller inventory, and may vary as tickets are sold in the days leading up to each event.
