For the first time, representatives from the ticketing industry’s most powerful trade associations will join together in a panel discussion about their groups and the future of the ticket business, as part of Ticket Summit NYC January 6-8 at the Waldorf=Astoria in Manhattan.
The panel discussion, entitled “The Power Club: Ticket Trade Association Leaders,” will look at how the trade groups are helping ticket companies navigate the occasional choppy waters of the marketplace, in addition to other topics. Among the groups that will be represented on the panel are the International Ticketing Association (INTIX) and the Association of Secondary Ticket Agents (ASTA-UK) out of Great Britain. In addition, the ArenaNetwork and the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB) have been invited to also participate.
“Get updates from the chiefs themselves and hear how their respective organizations are leading the next wave of innovations in the ticketing industry. A must-attend panel at Ticket Summit,” the panel description said.
Dan Pullium, head of the Better Ticketing Association, will moderate the panel. “Keeping up with these groups is something all ticketing executives should do. They help build important relationships that allow brokers and other industry insiders to communicate and network effectively,” he said.
“With the economy being such a focus these days, we realize the importance of networking, so our intent is to help ticketing professionals understand what these trade associations offer,” Pullium added.

I was a long time NATB member I drop out because i was sick of the EGOs on the board. I can’t stand ticketnetwork either but i heard that they offer the NATB rooms to hold meetings in NY and speak on the panels. But the NATB has so many boardmembers that own TicketTechnology they passed. so why should i pay money to support TicketTechnology?
