Hollywood Undead, Senses Fail lead 2009 Saints & Sinners Tour

The up-and-coming rapcore outfit Hollywood Undead will team with Senses Fail, Haste the Day and Brokencyde for a winter jaunt. The four-band Saints & Sinners Tour is scheduled to hit nearly 25 cities on its coast-to-coast run of the U.S.

The trek begins February 27 at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and wraps April 2 at Showbox at the Market in Seattle, WA. Highlights for the outing include a March 10 concert at the Fillmore in New York, NY, a March 17 gig at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL, a March 20 set at Beaumont Club in Kansas City, MO, and a March 30 show at the Grand Ballroom in San Francisco, CA. General onsales have already begun for select dates of the tour, with tickets priced at $20 and under in most cases.

Hollywood Undead is touring behind the group’s 2008 debut release, “Swan Songs,” which peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard 200. The band members, who perform in masks and under assumed names, have already completed a number of U.S. tour dates prior to the holidays.

Despite the group’s 2009 tour plans, Hollywood Undead be sidelined early in the year as member Johnny 3 Tears serves time in jail. According to a statement on the band’s MySpace page, the performer was aware he would have to serve time upon the conclusion of the 2008 tour, and will spend “at least 41 days in jail.” No further details of the matter were announced.

The Christian metalcore group Haste the Day landed on the Billboard 200 with its fourth album “Dreamer” and will be along for the ride with screamo unit Brokencyde, which is currently working on a debut release.
