According to TicketNews’ exclusive venues rankings for the week ending Saturday, January 3, Dolphin Stadium holds the number one spot for the second week in a row. Bolstered by sales for both the January 4 AFC Wild Card game between the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Ravens and the January 8 BCS National Championship Bowl pitting the Florida Gators against the Oklahoma Sooners, the stadium earns an impressive 6.71 power score this week.

Moving up four from last week to the number two position is the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The home of Los Angeles Lakers basketball is also scheduled to host two dates on Britney Spears popular spring tour. The Staples Center power scores a 3.30 this week. The home field of the San Diego Chargers, Qualcomm Stadium, hits at number three this week with a power score of 3.10. TicketNews Exclusive Rankings and Power Scores are based on ticket sales for venues from the TicketNetwork Exchange™, the world’s largest secondary market exchange. A Power Score illustrates a given venue’s category-specific significance. Two factors are used to calculate a power score: total ticket sales for a venue, and total ticket sales within the category. As such, power scores should only be used to compare venues within a particular category.
