MassConcerts, based in Worcester, MA, and one of the largest independent concert promoters in the northeast, has been tapped to book the 1,250-capacity Webster Theatre and 250-capacity Webster Underground by theatre owner Justine Robertson. Both venues are located in Hartford, CT.
“We previously booked our shows both internally and through Stan Levinstone Productions,” Webster Theatre’s Mike Mauer told TicketNews. “The switch to MassConcerts was a better fit for this market. We’re really excited about the booking deal, which will definitely help bring us to the next level.”
Since opening in 1994, MassConcerts has promoted more than 2,500 concerts throughout New England, including Metallica, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Prince, and The Killers, among many others. MassConcerts’ list of venues also includes The TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI, and the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, CT, among others.
