Rothbury is on. That is the word from producers Madison House Presents and AEG Live. The green light ends months of speculation as to whether the festival would surface for year two. It received a preliminary go last month.

Staged at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, MI, the four-day, environmentally sustainable music and camping festival is set for July 2-5. Artist announcements and ticket on-sale information will be coming soon, with broadened VIP offerings “unmatched by any other U.S. festival,” according to Rothbury’s organizers.

Building on last year’s debut, Rothbury’s social and environmental mission will be present at this year’s event as it continues to create a state-of-the-art large scale sustainable event and to organize and nurture community involvement.

Last year’s inaugural event, which pulled in an estimated 40,000 people, featured Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, John Mayer, 311, Phil Lesh and Friends, Trey Anastasio (including a mini-reunion of Phish) and Primus.
