Chris Tsakalakis, President of StubHub, and Howard Lefkowitz, President and CEO of Vegas.com, are among the speakers lined up for the fourth annual Ticket Summit Las Vegas, July 15-17, at Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

Joining the two industry heavyweights will be Graham Burns, chairman of the Association of Secondary Ticket Agents (ASTA), a UK-based trade association for secondary ticket brokers. Both Burns and Tsakalakis have spoken at Ticket Summit in the past.

“We’re very pleased to have these three industry experts at Ticket Summit,” said Dan Pullium, Government Relations Director for TicketNetwork, parent company of Ticket Summit and TicketNews, and one of the organizers for the event. “All three are dynamic speakers who offer a wealth of insight into the various aspects of the ticketing industry. Attendees will learn a lot.”

Ticket Summit is the world’s largest gathering of professionals in the secondary ticket industry, and the Las Vegas trade show and conference is the second to be held this year. The first was Ticket Summit NYC, which took place January 6-8 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York.

Tsakalakis is also General Manager of eBay Tickets and he will address the “Ticketing in a Recession Economy” panel, discussing StubHub data with several other ticket industry economists. He led eBay’s acquisition of StubHub in 2007 and has been an eBay Marketplaces executive since 2003.

Lefkowitz will participate in “The Future of Vegas Venues & the Theater Industry” panel, and since joining Vegas.com in 2001, he has led Vegas.com’s transition from an occasionally visited, online magazine into the largest city e-commerce travel site in the world.

Burns is one of the most outspoken voices on the topic of secondary tickets in Europe, and he will address the “Internationalizing Your Ticket Base” panel session. He administers the day-to-day operations for ASTA and monitors the goings on of the European ticketing market with a keen eye.
