Senator Herb Kohl, who chaired a Senate subcommittee hearing on the proposed merger between Ticketmaster and Live Nation, has joined the chorus of politicians who have recently come out against the deal. In a Washington Post piece, Kohl is said to be calling on Assistant Attorney General Christine Varney, head of the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, to opposed the merger.
