Future Hall-of-Fame Quarterback Brett Favre’s decision not to come out of retirement to play for the Minnesota Vikings could result in a drop in price for tickets to see the Vikings play Favre’s former team the Green Bay Packers, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. Prior to Favre’s announcement Tuesday, July 28, tickets for the November 1 game in Green Bay were reportedly in the $300 range, and would have likely gone for more had he decided to play.
