The Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp concert scheduled for August 11 at the Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ, has been cancelled due the weather forecast of extreme heat.

The package was axed on August 8 and, according to the show promoters Jam Productions, will not be rescheduled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

“It has been determined that these conditions have the potential to cause a serious health risk to the public, as well as the working personnel at the venue,” the promoters said in a statement. “After careful consideration, it has been determined that this potential risk is too great for all involved.”

“While we understand that this will cause an inconvenience to those who purchased tickets and were looking forward to the show,” Jam added, “the potential for serious heat-related injury resulting from extended exposure in these conditions brought us to this difficult decision.”

The Dylan/Nelson/Mellencamp package has been playing minor league baseball parks this summer, venues Jam has found viable for the past decade.
