Apparently being the state’s favorite son hasn’t helped New Jersey’s Bruce Springsteen sell out his five-night stand at Giants Stadium, which starts tonight, September 30. According to The Star-Ledger newspaper, thousands of tickets are still available for the shows, many at prices well-below face value, and some are saying The Boss over saturated the market. In addition, initial reports of sell outs for the shows appear to be in question, due to the sheer volumn of available tickets. That Springsteen remains a popular tour draw is not in doubt, but having toured extensively in recent years, and having been the focus of a ticketing scandal earlier in the year has possibly taken a toll on sales for these shows.
