Tickets for upcoming concerts from O.A.R. as well as tickets for the upcoming 2009-2010 NHL season are on sale throughout the week ending September 5 as compiled by TicketNews.
This week’s onsales start off with tickets to several different upcoming professional and collegiate sporting events. First up, tickets went on sale Monday for the 2009-2010 NBA season for the Boston Celtics. Also among the Monday onsales were tickets to catch the New York Jets’ upcoming NFL season. The Florida Gators football program has tickets on sale for the defending national champions’ home schedule on Tuesday.
Also among the Tuesday onsales are tickets for the 2010 Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Rounding out the sporting event onsales are tickets to several NHL teams’ home schedules. The Phoenix Coyotes and Tampa Bay Lightning had tickets go on sale Monday morning, while the Calgary Flames’ tickets are on sale today. Tickets for the Columbus Blue Jackets are among the Thursday onsales, while the Vancouver Canucks have tickets on sale Friday morning.
In terms of musical artists with upcoming concerts on sale, the week kicks off with tickets for the long-running Broadway smash musical Wicked. The show’s Broadway Company has a new block of tickets on sale this week. On sale Wednesday are tickets to catch Keith Urban alongside some of his fellow country stars in Nashville. Also on sale Wednesday are multiple tour dates from rockers O.A.R. Among the stops on sale are shows in Atlantic City, Dallas, and Houston. Finally this week, Thursday marks a chance to snag tickets to see Jason Mraz in concert in Berkley, CA, while Friday has tickets for an upcoming performance from Stone Temple Pilots in Columbus, OH.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
