The Peachtree City City Council, upset over the high-ticket fees charged by Ticketmaster, recently voted to end its contract with the ticketing giant at the municipally owned Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheatre. According to the Fayetteville Daily News, a replacement has not yet been found, but the city expects to save money with the move. In addition, it hopes to save fans money on tickets; Ticketmaster was charging as much as $10 in fees for some shows at the outdoor venue.
