Students trying to resell LSU football tickets are being warned that they could face charges, according to a report by WAFB-TV. The university, which currently boasts a Top Five college football team, is cracking down on students reselling tickets, in part because selling tickets above face value is illegal in the state, except over the Internet. In addition, the LSU Code of Conduct also prohibits students reselling tickets above face value. About 80 students were disciplined over the matter in 2008, according to WAFB-TV.
