Craig Ferguson, Lady Gaga tickets on sale this weekend
Tickets for upcoming concerts from Lady Gaga, as well as tickets for upcoming performances from Craig Ferguson, are on sale throughout the weekend ending December 28 as compiled by TicketNews.
With the holiday weekend approaching, there is a shortage of events among this week’s onsales. However, one of the high-profile concerts comes from red hot Lady Gaga. Coming off a strong year, which saw the first four singles off her hit debut CD, “The Fame”, reach number one on the charts, Gaga is consistently selling out venues for her debut U.S. tour. This week sees the always intriguing artist having a concert in Orlando among the week’s onsales. Also with tickets for an upcoming concert is musician John Hiatt, who has a concert in New York City in the onsales. Rapper Lil’ Wayne has his own show in Texas among the week’s onsales as well.
Also with concerts among the week’s onsales is a pair of country stars. Travis Tritt has a show in Louisiana on sale, while Willie Nelson has an upcoming concert in Indiana that went on sale yesterday. Rockers Skid Row have a show in Pennsylvania on sale Saturday morning, while singer Howie Day has a show in Ann Arbor, MI on sale this week as well. Rounding out the week’s onsales are tickets to catch two comics live on stage. First up, the host of the popular “CBS Late Late Show”, Craig Ferguson, has tickets for his upcoming stand-up appearance in Portland on sale this week. Ferguson’s brand of comedy has been responsible for helping CBS pull in high ratings on their late-night talk shows this past year. Finally, Larry the Cable Guy has tickets available today for his upcoming show in Nevada. One fourth of the popular Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Larry has managed to carve his own niche into the comedy market and his stand-up shows sell consistently well.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
