Nearly six months after the untimely death of DJ AM, Travis Barker will again play club sets with a DJ. The Blink-182 drummer has found a new partner in acclaimed turntablist A-Trak, the longtime touring DJ for Kanye West.

Performing under the name Travis X A-Trak, the live project will be christened with a pair of club shows on March 9 and 10 at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

The face value on tickets to the two-night stand will be an affordable $20, according to the Roxy’s official Web site. Public onsales start today at 11 a.m. PST at the club’s box office and through Ticketmaster.com.

While the duo’s first shows will take place in an intimate club setting, a couple bigger showcases will follow this spring. Barker told MTV News that he and A-Trak have planned festival sets at South By Southwest in Austin, TX, and the Winter Music Conference in Miami, FL.

Set times for Travis X A-Trak have not yet been announced for either festival. SXSW will overrun Austin-area venues during March 17-21, and the 25th annual WMC comes just days later on March 23-25.

“It’s going to be a mix of everything,” A-Trak told MTV News of the duo’s live catalogue. “We’re still kind of rehearsing it, but I think it’s going to be some songs people recognize, some of the remixes Travis has done, some of my remixes. Just kind of mix it up.”

Though Barker is best known for his work with the recently reunited Blink-182, he’s no stranger to the club scene. He previously performed with the late Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein under the TRV$-DJAM moniker, and the two were the sole survivors of a Learjet crash that killed four people.

However, since DJ AM died unexpectedly in August 2009, Barker has not drummed with a DJ. His upcoming performances will be his first in nearly a year.
