Rob, whose last name was withheld, lives in Atlanta and has a wife and nine kids, but this past weekend he was in Buffalo, NY, outside of the HSBC Arena scalping NCAA men’s basketball tickets. According to The Buffalo News, Rob is a career ticket scalper, and the paper chronicled what he goes through as he travels around North America reselling tickets. He reportedly claims he makes between $50,000 and $100,000 a year, and he often works with a team of other street scalpers when going to a city with major events. “I am a people person,” he told The Buffalo News. “In this business, you have to be.”
