A Boston Celtics fan went undercover this past weekend to help Boston police nab a ticket scalper who allegedly sold his girlfriend fake Celtics tickets to Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Edward Lopez, 42, of Los Angeles was arrested by police after the boyfriend of the victim posed as a new customer looking for tickets. Lopez allegedly sold two tickets for $1,400 the day before to the woman, who discovered the tickets were fake when she returned home. She allegedly had met Lopez through an ad he placed on Craigslist.
