Just in time for this week’s Ticket Summit, the legal and editorial teams at TicketNews have updated “Amusement and Sales Tax Laws as Applied to Ticket Resellers” and “Ticket Resale Laws” documents, which help ticket brokers navigate the legal seas around ticket resale in the U.S.

Over the past several years, a host of states have adopted new regulations governing ticket resale, as the Internet has opened the secondary market beyond their borders. And, various states and municipalities have looked at implementing new tax laws for resold tickets to help plug budgetary holes in government coffers.
