After a successful spree of spring concerts, two of horror rock’s most ghoulish acts will reunite for a new fall tour. Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie, who teamed for the earlier Gruesome Twosome Tour, will return to the U.S. circuit with the Halloween Hootenanny Tour.

Cooper and Zombie will launch their latest trek with a September 30 show at Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA. The 16-date venture, with special guest Murderdolls, is set run through an October 24 concert at Concrete Street Amphitheater in Corpus Christi, TX.

Other stops on the three-week calendar include October 4 at Usana Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, UT; October 8 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, IL; and October 15 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.

Tickets are already on sale for select tour dates, while a few other shows have onsales opening August 20. Ticket prices start around the $40 mark in most cities, though ducats to the tour’s Ohio stop start at $26.50, not including fees, according to Ticketmaster.com.

Despite the name of the tour, Cooper and Zombie do not have plans to perform together on Halloween itself. Cooper will be playing a pair of shows on October 31 and November 1 at the Roundhouse in London, ENG. Zombie’s calendar, on the other hand, remains wide open after the Hootenanny ends.

The original Gruesome Twosome Tour was sold out in each of the 17 markets it visited, according to heavy metal and hard rock news site Blabbermouth.net. The spring 2010 venture took Cooper and Zombie across the United States and Canada, beginning April 26 in Winnipeg, MB, and wrapping May 22 in Buffalo, NY.

More details about the upcoming tour are available on Cooper’s official Web site.
