“Contests are a great way for fans to get involved and excited about sports events. We wanted to create something similar to our March college basketball contest that encourages fans to follow the championship event. This year’s US Open will offer spectacular sports action, and creating a bracket contest gets fans excited, whether they’re attending the event or not,” says Randy Cohen, CEO of TicketCity.

The winners of the 2010 contest are scheduled to be announced shortly after the close of the US Open on September 12, 2010. In recent years, TicketCity has also offered contests around college football and basketball post-season events.
