One of R&B’s leading ladies will be hitting the U.S. tour circuit this fall, and she’ll be taking a couple up-and-coming acts with her.

Mary J. Blige has plans for a one-month outing that will set her on the road with an October 1 performance at the BayFest music festival in Mobile, AL, before her tour officially launches October 2 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA.

A dozen cities are on the official tour itinerary, though not all markets have confirmed venues. Among the plans definitively pinned down are stands on October 11-12 at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY, and October 19-20 at Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Public ticket sales have already started for select dates of the tour, and others are yet to be announced. At least one public onsale starts this week — tickets will become available on September 3 at the Fox Theatre in Mashantucket, CT.

Tickets to the Mashantucket concert range in price from $50 to $75, according to Elsewhere, ticket prices vary widely — from the $65 to $165 range for Blige’s New York City show to the more standard $40 to $100 spread of the tour’s smaller markets.

Joining Blige on the road are the chart-climbing powerhouse Jazmine Sullivan and soon-to-debut singer Miguel. The former artist recently had her single “Bust Your Windows” featured on the popular Fox series “Glee,” and the latter artist has a debut album scheduled for release in February 2011. Veteran pop-soul singer El DeBarge will also appear as a special guest on the tour’s billing.

Before Blige begins the main leg of her headlining tour, she’ll perform a couple scattered sets on the West Coast this month. The R&B songstress has engagements inked for September 5 at Fantasy Springs in Indio, CA, and September 6 at the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, WA.
