Another concert has been added to Bob Seger‘s upcoming public ticket ssales for his 2011 tour with the Silver Bullet Band.

A third tour date has been confirmed for April 2 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. The concert closely follows two previously announced shows in the region on March 29 in Saginaw, MI, and March 31 in Toledo, OH.

Public onsales start at 10 a.m. local time on February 11 in Toledo and on February 12 in Saginaw and Grand Rapids. Pricing information hasn’t been released for the earlier dates, but tickets to the Grand Rapids show are set at $72.50, according to the arena’s published event listing.

The American rock icon is a Michigan native, and his home state was one of five (along with Ohio) highlighted in an early tour-teasing video on Seger’s official Web site. Fans should soon see bookings outside of the region, though. Based on a recent Rolling Stone report, Seger is expected to play 20 to 30 concerts across the country.

Seger has long championed his home state, though. He began and ended his last tour, in late 2006 and early 2007, with blocks of concerts across Michigan. Those dates (and many others on the Face the Promise Tour) quickly sold out.
