Foo Fighters will follow this month’s spring U.S. tour with a fresh round of late summer concerts across North America.
The band’s summer calendar is largely dominated by European concert and festival appearances. But Dave Grohl and company will take a break from their overseas outing for two shows in Canada on August 9 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON, and August 10 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.
At the end of the summer season, Foo Fighters once again return stateside for nine additional concerts in the United States. That portion of the calendar opens September 14 at the Xcel Center in St. Paul, MO, and ends September 26 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ.
The first public ticket sales for the late summer tour begin May 20-21. Canadian ticket prices are within the CA$55 and CA$75 range, while U.S. concert prices fall mostly within the $30 and $50 marks, according to Ticketmaster.com.
Rise Against and Mariachi el Bronx will support the September concerts, while Doughboys and F**ked Up are part of the August lineup.
Foo Fighters’ spring tour kicks off tomorrow, May 17, with a concert at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. Both the spring and summer tour legs support the band’s new No. 1 album, “Wasting Light.”
