As Lady Antebellum prepares to launch the fall 2011 leg of its Own the Night Tour, the country pop trio is working on a new leg of dates for 2012, as well.

Twenty-two shows were previously announced for the late 2011 edition of the Own the Night Tour. The leg begins November 3 at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, TX, and concludes December 18 at WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, WV.

An additional 60 concerts are in the works for 2012, starting with a January 27 show at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. The lengthy itinerary continues — with a few scheduling gaps — through a June 30 set at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI.

Tickets are already on sale for 2011 tour dates, and face values range from $30 to $100, according to Ticketmaster.com listings. Meanwhile, the first public onsales for the 2012 tour open November 4, with a similar price structure to the 2011 leg.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

Of course, details are still being ironed out for some 2012 tour dates. Among the 30-plus markets still awaiting venue assignments are Salt Lake City (February 14), Los Angeles (March 27), Tampa (May 11), and Memphis (June 28).

Onsale dates and pricing information for these cities will be announced on Lady Antebellum’s official Web site as they become available.

Since its 2008 debut, Lady Antebellum has racked up accolades and awards for its mainstream mash-up of country and pop music. The upcoming 2011 and 2012 tour dates support the group’s third studio album, “Own the Night,” which was released September 13.

Josh Kelley, Randy Montana and Edens Edge will provide support for select dates for the 2011 tour leg. Meanwhile, Darius Rucker and Thompson Square will take over supporting duties in the New Year.
