Tickets to upcoming concert dates from Roger Waters’ The Wall Live Tour and tickets to Radiohead’s upcoming tour are on sale throughout the weekend ending November 14, as compiled by TicketNews.
This weekend’s onsales start with tickets to the upcoming concert tour from Radiohead. The English band have sold over 30 million albums throughout their 20 year existence, and the band made headlines this past year by releasing their latest album on vinyl rather than CD.
Tickets for Radiohead’s upcoming 2012 tour are on sale Saturday. This tour will be their first U.S. tour in four years. Among the stops on sale are shows in Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA; and St. Louis, MO.
Also among the weekend’s onsales are tickets to several upcoming stops on Roger Waters’ The Wall Live Tour. The initial North American tour of the concert grossed over $89.5 million and consisted of 56 concerts in 2010. The tour has since gone around the world, with shows in Europe, South America, and Australia.
The concert, in which Waters performs Pink Floyd’s hit album “The Wall” in its entirety, will now be embarking on its second pass through North America. Tickets go on sale Monday for concerts in Washington, DC; Vancouver, BC; and Seattle, WA.
Finally, tickets go on sale today for several upcoming concerts from top country artists. First up, tickets for upcoming joint concerts from George Strait and Martina McBride in Phoenix and Louisiana are among today’s onsales.
Today’s onsales also include two upcoming shows from Brad Paisley, including a concert in Las Vegas. Paisley will be joined in concert by rising stars The Band Perry and American Idol champion Scotty McCreery.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
