Broadway’s bottom line saw a $1.2 million uptick through the week ending December 11, bringing the Main Stem’s 33-production cumulative to $25 million.

Attendance also increased across the Great White Way, as more than 258,000 theatergoers filled seats last week. Both the audience boost and the incline in ticket sales were enjoyed almost universally in the Rialto’s playhouses.

With Daniel Radcliffe entering the homestretch in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” the production posted a 15 percent increase to reenter million-dollar territory ($1.03 million). Radcliffe’s final performance is January 1, after which Darren Criss and Nick Jonas will take turns in the role of J. Pierrepont Finch.

Other examples of the widespread increase could be seen in receipts for “Mary Poppins,” which also jumped 15 percent to $901,872 through December 11. Similarly, the long-running “Phantom of the Opera” had its own 15 percent rise to close the week at $806,048.

Higher up the charts, “The Lion King” ($1.79 million) reasserted its dominance over “Wicked” ($1.77 million) as Broadway’s top-earning production for a second week running. Not far behind were two more tuneful blockbusters, “Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway” ($1.54 million) and “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark” ($1.50 million).

Exceptions to the swell in ticket sales were few and far between. Of the handful of shows with slipping sales, most slides were relatively minor. The recently opened “Stick Fly” fell 10 percent to $265,552 for its comp-filled week, while “Lysistrata Jones” (with the season’s final opening on December 14) dropped roughly 8 percent to $108,138.

The largest drop — more than 19 percent — was felt by Harry Connick, Jr.’s revival of “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever” ($644,462). The heavily revised musical was accommodating press comps prior to its December 11 opening.
