Ticket resale marketplace StubHub this week announced a partnership with sports travel company Premiere Global Sports to offer fans a variety of VIP packages to high-profile events.

StubHub has named Premier Global Sports its “official fan travel provider.” At StubHubPackages.com, the two companies now offer tickets, accommodations and access to exclusive fan experiences at events such as the BCS National Championship, Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500.

This partnership with Premiere Global Sports now moves StubHub beyond being only a ticket marketplace by allowing the company to also offer high-end travel and hospitality services.

“StubHub’s mission is to provide the best experience for fans, and teaming up with Premiere Global Sports to offer fans a valuable — and convenient — way to plan their travel for upcoming events furthers that goal,” said PJ Perdaems, StubHub’s manager of field operations and special events, in a statement announcing the partnership.

Illinois-based Premier Global Sports provides sports travel and hospitality services for fans, corporations and colleges. In addition to travel and lodging, it offers perks like VIP receptions, athlete-celebrity appearances, behind-the-scenes access and an on-site event staff.

StubHub, owned by eBay, has partnerships with more than 60 pro and college sports teams, including all of Major League Baseball. It had revenues of $325 million last year, according to Forbes.

Last week, StubHub acquired Zvents, a local event-discovery platform. That deal also expanded the company’s reach, giving StubHub access to the more than 3 million events that Zvents lists annually.
