Tickets for the upcoming 2012 season for the National Football League’s two Pennsylvania franchises are among the onsales for the weekend ending June 25, 2012 as compiled by TicketNews®.
The Philadelphia Eagles, who failed to make the postseason last season for the first time in five years, had tickets for their 2012 home season on sale Thursday, June 20. Among the Saturday, June 23 onsales are tickets to the 2012 home season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers had a strong 2011, making the postseason as a Wild Card team, losing to the Denver Broncos in the first round.
The weekend’s concert onsales begin with tickets to the second leg of Fiona Apple’s upcoming North American tour. Apple’s most recent album was released on June 9, 2012, and The Idle Wheeler Tour takes its name from the first section of the album’s long title. Dates on sale throughout the weekend include shows in San Francisco, CA; Louisville, KY; New Orleans, LA; Atlanta, GA; Orlando, FL; and Las Vegas, NV.
Also with concerts on sale this weekend is the rocker Morrissey. The English singer/songwriter announced in May that he would be playing a string of concert dates in the U.S. this year, with concerts likely containing a mixture of his classic hits along with some newly written material. Dates among the onsales this weekend include concerts in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV; and Portland, OR.
Finally this weekend, tickets are on sale for several upcoming concert stops from the summer Enrique, J-Lo, Wisin and Yandel tour. The tour, which was announced in early May, will bring together some of Latin music’s top artists, with Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez teaming up for a North American concert tour. The duo will welcome Puerto Rican reggaeton artists Wisin and Yandel as their opening act. Dates on sale this weekend include shows in Miami, FL; Kansas City, MO; and Las Vegas, NV.
