Tickets to upcoming concerts from teen superstar Justin Bieber are among the onsales for the weekend ending June 4, 2012 as compiled by TicketNews®.
The weekend onsales begin with tickets to 41 upcoming concert dates from pop star Justin Bieber. Arguably the most popular pop star of today, Bieber has enthralled teen girls since the release of his debut album in 2009. His most recent album, “Believe,” is set to be released on June 15, and will be the focal point of Bieber’s upcoming North American tour. Dates on sale throughout the weekend include shows in Toronto, ON; Miami, FL; New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; and Las Vegas, NV.
Continuing the concert onsales are tickets to several upcoming concerts from Peter Gabriel. This concert tour will be in celebration of Gabriel’s album “So,” which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Each concert will consist of Gabriel playing the entire album; hence the tours name Back to Front. Concert stops on sale this weekend include shows in Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Las Vegas, NV; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; and Hollywood, CA.
Among the Friday, June 1, onsales are tickets for the Summerland Tour’s stop in Nashville, TN. The tour will feature performances from Mercy Playground, the Gin Blossoms, Everclear, Lit, and Sugar Ray. Wrapping up the weekend’s concert onsales are tickets to an upcoming concert from rock legends Def Leppard. Also among the Friday onsales, the concert will be held in Woodlands, TX.
Finally this weekend, tickets go on sale Saturday for the 2012 home season of the Carolina Panthers. Quarterback Cam Newton enjoyed an exceptional rookie season in 2011, but the team struggled to a 6-10 record. With Newton behind center, the Panthers could be one of the most improved teams in the NFL next season.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
