Iconic rock-band Aerosmith has announced the second leg of The Global Warming Tour. The five-member group will return to the stage in fourteen cities across the United States and into Canada. The tour is set to kick off November 8 in Oklahoma City, just two days after the bands new album Music From Another Dimension, will be available.

With an incredibly strong following of devoted fans and plenty of practice from the first portion of the tour, the band is expected to out-do itself even more along the second leg of the tour. Fans can expect to hear new songs from the November 6 album release, along with many of the band’s most popular fan favorites like “Dream On,” “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” “Walk This Way” and “Dude (Looks Like a Lady).”

Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses told Seattle Weekly, “Brad Witford and Joe Perry are playing better guitar than ever. Steven Tyler is playful, happy and singing all of those impossible high notes. Joey Kramer has a drum groove like no other. And Tom Hamilton continues to be the steady anchor to this ship.”

This past summer during the first leg of The Global Warming Tour, Aerosmith did not disappoint, earning the band major kudos from music critics across the country. Aerosmith wrote, “More prisoners will be taken when Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer return,” in a press release announcing the tour on the band’s website aeroforceone.com.

Music From Another Dimension will be Aerosmith’s fifteenth studio album, and is one of the most highly anticipated albums that will hit shelves this fall. It will be the band’s first album to be released with all new material in 11 years, and includes a duet with Carrie Underwood and a song with backing vocals by Johnny Depp.

Mario Tarradell of Dallas Morning News spoke of the first leg of the tour saying, “Aerosmith always managed to reinvent itself for the masses without losing its inherent musicality…the band stayed true to its creative forces. That’s why 42 years after its inception, Aerosmith still sells out arenas.”

The Live Nation tour will commence November 8, making stops in major cities including: New York City on November 20 at the Madison Square Garden Arena, Atlantic City on November 23 at Ovation Hall, Las Vegas on December 1 at the MGM Grand Arena, and Los Angeles on December 3 at the Staples Center. Classic rock band Cheap Trick will be the supporting act at all of the shows along the tour.

A Facebook presale for tickets starts September 21, while tickets go on sale to the general pubic September 24 at 10 a.m. Information on VIP ticket packages for backstage tours and meet and greets can be found on aeroforceone.com.

Before the tour, Aerosmith can be found performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
