Las Vegas’ striptease spectacular “Peepshow” at the Planet Hollywood Showroom is replacing Bo Peep, the star of the show. Holly Madison, who has starred in the production for over three years, announced in late May that she was leaving the show on December 30, 2012. When her pregnancy was confirmed in August, she decided to leave sooner. She will close with her final performance on October 21, 2012.

Madison is expecting her first child in February. She wants to continue her entertainment career next year in a new Las Vegas Strip production, a return to “Peepshow,” or alternatively, to work on a Hollywood TV project.

Angel Porrino will step into Holly Madison’s shoes to fill the role of Bo Peep and will perform from October 22 through December 2. Porrino has been the understudy for Holly Madison and covered sick days and vacation time in the past.

Rapper and actor Ice-T’s wife, Coco, aka Nicole Austin, will take over as Bo Peep on December 3, 2012 through March, 2013. The next Bo Peep star that will take over after Coco has not been announced. Angel Porrino was going to take over full-time for Madison, but the production company, BASE Entertainment (“Rock of Ages,” “Jersey Boys,” and “Absinthe”), decided guest stars would replace Madison instead of a single replacement for the role.

Angel Porrino is a good friend of Madison’s and was previously her assistant. Porrino also co-starred in E!’s “Holly’s World” and she is the featured star in “Absinthe” at Ceasars Palace. Even though Porrino will only star as Bo Peep for a few months she is still very excited. She shared, “I am thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to join such an amazing pool of talented performers in ‘Peepshow.’ This will be an incredible experience, and I cannot thank ‘Peepshow’ enough for making my dreams come true,” according to BestofLasVegas.com.

Coco Austin stars in a reality TV show, E!’s “Ice Loves Coco,” and she is finishing up season three of the show. She will then begin rehearsing for “Peepshow” in New York before moving to Las Vegas in November. Coco has been dancing since she was six years old and asserts that “Peepshow” will have more dancing in the show now. She shares, “I know they are switching around the routines because I have a little bit more dance experience than Holly,” as noted on LasVegasSun.com. She also said, “I am over my head with excitement.”

“Peepshow” was created by Tony award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell (“Legally Blonde,” “Hairspray”). Reporters call the show “A frisky, flashy update on that Vegas staple, the topless burlesque show,” and “the sexiest show on the planet,” as noted on LasVegas.BroadwayWorld.com.

“Peepshow” takes the stage every Sunday through Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 9:30 p.m., with performances each Saturday at both 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The audience can look forward to meet and greet opportunities Porrino will attend following Sunday through Friday performances and after the 10:30 p.m. performance Saturday.
