Cirque Week is swinging into Las Vegas this fall for the third year. Cirque du Soleil is featuring a week-long of behind-the-stages events of all seven productions.

A senior publicist for CirqueduSoleil.com, Ann Paladie told TicketNews® they have asked guests for feedback about previous years and they are trying to utilize that feedback to give guests the best experiences possible with this year’s Cirque Week. She also said, “We noted that some of our guests are repeat visitors so we strive to offer different experiences for them each year.”

From December 1, 2012 through December 8, 2012 the creative teams will talk about each of the magical shows on a different night, at a different resort and casino.

Cirque Week begins on December 1 with ‘”O” Behind the Water.’ Guests get a behind-the-scenes look at the underwater makings of what makes this aquatic show come to life. Fans learn about what happens under the water, on top, and in between. The show ” O” celebrates theatre, where anything can happen.

The following day at the “Love Sound and Set Demonstration” event, Cirque week guests will hear the wonderful sounds of The Beatles from the Cirque show ” Love.” 6,300 custom made speakers will blow audience members away at the Mirage. Guests will have the opportunity experience some of their favorite scenes from the show and get up close to set pieces used on the stage of every performance.

During the “Mystère Chinese Poles Demonstration and Q&A” event on December 3 at Treasure Island, guests will experience the mystery of this Cirque du Soleil classic, along with an amazing Chinese poles act from the show. ” Mystère” has recently added two new acts and 20 new members to this high-energy acrobatic show.

“Go Behind the Scenes with Zumanity, The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil” is a Cirque Week event where guests will experience the sensual side of Cirque du Soleil on a little more deeper level. This sensual event will be held at the “Zumanity” theatre at New York – New York on December 4.

On December 5, “Believe ‘Magic with Maestro”‘ will give Cirque Week guests a night filled with behind-the-scenes look at the extraordinary illusions from the “Criss Angel Believe” show. Criss’ right hand man Maestro and partners Slim, Lars, and Lugi will perform some of their favorite magic tricks for the guests. In a Q&A session with the show’s staff, guests can find out about the secrets and new additions to the show, since it opened in 2008.

The December 6 event offers fans a behind the scenes look at how Cirque du Soleil and Marvel Entertainment worked to bring the story of Ka to life. While attending guests will get to ask questions about the making of the comic book and take pictures with some of the characters from the show.

To close out the 2012 Cirque Week Zarkana 101 will be offered providing insight into Las Vegas’ newest Cirque du Soliel show. TheStreet.com noted, “More than 1.2 million guests have been awed by Zarkana and the show has been touted by press as “Aah-Inspiring” (The New York Times) and “Truly spectacular, awe-inspiring, gorgeous and stunning” (New York Post).” The “Zarkana” show officially started its Vegas residence on November 1, 2012, at the ARIA Resort & Casino. Guests will learn what changes had to be made to the show in order for the production to be performed at ARIA.
