Pop star and now former American Idol judge, Mariah Carey announced yesterday, via Twitter, that she will be leaving her role on the Fox talent show to head out on a world tour. This will be Carey’s first time on tour since 2009. Although no official dates have been set, the singer has confirmed that due to the global success of her latest single “Beautiful”, she will be doing quiet a bit traveling around the world for this tour. Fans of the star will just have to hold on a little longer for tour dates to be announced.
