Carly Rae Jepsen, best known for her hit single “Call Me Maybe,” is trading in the concert stage for the theater stage this upcoming year. It was announced earlier this week that Jepsen will be taking over the role of Cinderella in the Rodgers and Hammerstein production on Broadway beginning February 4th. Jepsen will be replacing Tony nominee Laura Osnes, who has held the role for the past year. It was also announced that Fran Drescher will be playing the part of “Madame,” the evil step-mother. Cinderella is currently playing at the Broadway Theater – New York.
