It’s been a good year for Ed Sheeran. From making magazine covers, to performing on Saturday Night Live, the young artist certainly found his footing in the music industry. Building off his success, he recently announced his first North American arena tour. The tour begins on August 22 in Seattle, and has 15 stops in cities ranging from Boston to Chicago. Taylor Swift, who had Sheeran make cameo performances during her tour in Europe, predicted an arena tour of this nature for Sheeran, “…It was the first time he’d played with a full band, and I saw this spark in his eye. I have a feeling the production of his live show will expand over the next few years, and I can’t wait to see it every step of the way.” While more dates will eventually be announced, tickets will go on sale April 25.
