As the United States prepares to honor its military heroes on Veterans Day – technically Saturday, but observed by many businesses and governmental agencies today – one ticketing operation is continuing to say thanks with a unique benefit for current and former members of the armed forces. Ticket Club, which offers service fee-free tickets to members, offers any current or former member of the armed forces a free membership – 365 days a year.

The program, which saves current and former armed service personnel $49.95 for the first year of membership and then $9.99 in renewal fees thereafter, is available to members of the United States and Canadian armed forces, across all branches. Once members, veterans and current servicemen and servicewomen can access millions of tickets powered by TicketNetwork’s marketplace, and save big over other secondary marketplaces.

“When we put the Ticket Club program together, it seemed like a great thing that we could offer as thanks to people who have done so much in service to our country,” says Don Vaccaro, CEO of TicketNetwork. “My co-founder (and TicketNetwork’s CTO) Doug Knuse and a number of our staff are proud veterans, and we think this is a great benefit to offer to everyone who served, and continues to serve.”

Veterans Day is observed by a myriad of businesses looking to give thanks to our service personnel. One only needs to follow any current or former member of our military on Instagram to see the flood of free food and other items designed to give a little bit back on this one day per year. The difference here is that Ticket Club’s Military Members Discount is here for them the other 364 days a year, whenever they are looking for a great deal on a night out.

Current service members can access a free membership by simply visiting TicketClub.com and signing up using their government-issued email address. Veterans are welcome to join through a simple verification process handled by ID.me, which offers benefits to a wide range of websites in addition to Ticket Club.

This program has been available since Ticket Club was launched in 2013 to provide a membership-based alternative to the high service fee norm in the ticket resale marketplace. The program for veterans has been around since the website went live, with tens of thousands of active memberships in its system.

First responders are also welcome to join through ID.me verification and claim a free membership as well. Visit TicketClub.com today to check out their great selection of tickets – and if you’re a current or former military member, claim your free membership and start saving with every show.

Are there any other programs honoring veterans in the ticketing world? We’d love to celebrate them on TicketNews (and let those who have served know of their existence) – please email us at [email protected] with the details
